USMC Development of an Expert Knowledge Model to Write Performance Specifications

Develop a performance-specification-generator system based on expert knowledge across the DoD to guide acquisition personnel in creating specifications for their requirements. The performance specification generator system will consist of an expert knowledge model and two Windows-based applications: the Model Builder used to create the expert knowledge model, and SpecRite, used to create the specifications document. Development of the initial version of the tool is over 50% complete.
